A photo can be edit by using software. Nowadays, a designer learn to use software to create or edit their artwork. But as a beginner, we must start our foundation with basic skill of drawings. Before this, without computer software, people have to finish their artwork by hand drawn. Now with double click, we can simply edit or create.

I had choose Lee Mun Ket, my classmate as my character of being edited by me. In these, i used Abode Illustrator to edit, with the effects. I added outline to show clearly of the character. With the colorful colors, it show how active of my friend. The background i leave it black and blur, because i want to highlight the character in this photo.

Creativity is based on our perception to look on it, either in this way or another way. We can rotate to left, rotate to right, turn it up, turn it down. It may show different ways of looking.
Is hard to create/edit a new things. Keep learning and gain knowledge is the main purpose for us to survive in this creative's world.

1 Funny Malaysia

Just noticed one of Malaysia's most renowned political comic artist, Zunar from my friend's facebook. She had uploaded few photos about Zunar's latest 1 Funny Malaysia.

His photos brought meanings. So i go through some researches to know more about him. I found his blog, http://darialmarikartun.blogspot.com/2008/01/zunar.html
- Zunar, borned in 15 May 1962 at Kedah.
- First artwork "beliau seawal" in 1973 in Bambino magazine.
- His style, pen and brush with the technique of line adventurous/ simple stroke

There are such many artist that have their own style on begin to have their own collection of their artwork. We really need to support them because i think that nowadays, creative artist is getting less onward we never notice them.

Lesson 0: Introduction to Creative Studies

A simple drawing. It shown a simple message "Family"

From above, we can see that everyone has their own ability to create or produce some nice artwork. We are not the talented or special peoples. What we create is what we gain from God. God gives us the ability to create. A drawing or a simple sketching, it look different with others. This is because each person have their own perceptions to view each things.
From zero we start to think, to create and to produce. A beginner should have a brand new ideas in order to be considered as creative.

I have saw a Chinese articles before, it wrote there:

A children should let them have their own way to view somethings. One day, a children got his artwork and asked to color it. The children was happy and filled the drawing full with colors. The next day, he passed the drawing to his teacher. He think that he can get high score on his drawing because he put his effort on finishing it. But after he get back his drawing, the teacher only give him 30%. He was very upset and asked the teacher why he couldn't get high score on his drawing. His teacher answered him :" You make a wrong color on your drawings, the sky should be in blue color." The children answered the teacher:" But in my world, the sky is black. When it is raining, the sky looks black. But when it is sunny, the sky is in red color. But when it is sunset, the sky is in orange color. Yesterday when i am in coloring, suddenly it rain heavily. So my sky is in black color "
The teacher never border the explanation from the children. From that day, in the children mind, sky must be in blue color. Everything was set in the children mind. No more black color sky, orange color sky and red color sky.

What i get the message from the article is that adults or elder has set/ block the children mind on not being that creative. They have control the children creative since they are small. They should allow the children to color on what they observe but not what we instill in their mind.

First class by Mr Yap, he taught us creative is not being in a box, we should think out of box. So hope that i won't be as like the children in the article, my mind has set/ block by somethings else.
